The Charity Foundation "Nadiya.ua" was created by renaming the Kharkiv City Charity Foundation "Monolit", which was founded on October 14, 1996.
The main goal of the Foundation is:
- providing material and other support to members of the Foundation, participants in charitable mutual aid programs, low-income people, disabled people, large families, orphans, as well as providing assistance to persons who, due to their physical and mental abilities, are limited in the exercise of their rights and legitimate
interests;
- providing assistance to victims of natural disasters;
- supporting the development of healthcare, education, science;
- providing assistance to talented creative youth;
- participating in providing medical assistance to the population, members of the Foundation, and providing social care for the sick, disabled, lonely, elderly people who, due to their physical, material and other characteristics, need social support and care;
- promotion of motherhood and childhood protection, assistance to large and low-income families.
In the period from 1998 to 2003, the Foundation implemented the Charitable Program "Caring for Children". Within the framework of this long-term program, systematic financing, material and other assistance were provided to the Krasnokutsk orphanage, which raised about 100 orphans from 3 to 7 years old.
Every month, the Foundation transferred to the orphanage a targeted charitable assistance of UAH 500. to finance the additional salary of the choreographer. For the holidays (New Year, Christmas, Easter, St. Nicholas, Children's Day), the Foundation provided the residents of the orphanage with charitable assistance in the form of confectionery, fruit, children's clothing, medicines, toys, children's books. Funds of up to UAH 20,000 were directed to this program annually.
In 1998, the Foundation, with the assistance of the German Victoria Foundation, received humanitarian aid from Germany. The medical equipment received was sent to a number of medical institutions in Kharkiv.
Since 1996, the Foundation has been implementing the Charity Program “Dignified Old Age”. This program is aimed at providing material support to pensioners of the Insurance Company “Nadiya”, low-income people who are disabled or persons who, due to their physical and mental abilities, are limited in exercising their rights and legitimate interests.
Within the framework of this Program, by decision of the Board, the Foundation has been providing systematic charitable assistance to pay for treatment in case of illness, purchase of medicines necessary for treatment.
In 1998, thanks to the humanitarian aid received from Germany, 5 elderly people received wheelchairs for mobility, 56 elderly people were given clothing and care products.
Since 2019, the Charity Program of Mutual Aid “Nadiya” has been operating. The purpose of the Program is to form a monetary fund at the expense of voluntary charitable contributions of Benefactors and other revenues not prohibited by law to provide charitable assistance to pay for the burial of a Program Participant in the event of his death. Program Participants — 1124 elderly people. Under this Program, charitable assistance in the amount of _UAH was paid.
